Exam boards are making available details of their grade boundaries for A Levels 2024 as students across England and Wales will be receiving their exam results today.
From 8am this morning, students will be collecting their results through UCAS track as well as those who go in person to their schools and colleges to share the moment with their friends and teachers.
Every exam board publishes the grade boundaries for exams, enabling students to see how many marks were needed for each grade - and how close they came to achieving the next grade up.

Previously, A level result grade boundaries were released 24 hours before results day, but this practice was stopped over concerns it added additional stress for student. Now, they are unveiled on the same day as the results.

The grade boundaries for WJEC exams taken by most pupils in Wales will be available for the Welsh exam board from their website here.
Grade boundaries for summer 2024 will be available on the AQA website here on Thursday, August 15, at 8am.
Grade boundaries for AS, A Level, Cambridge Technicals, Core Maths, Extended Project and FSMQ will be available on the OCR website here on Thursday, August 15, at 8am.
AS and A Level and BTEC National grade boundaries for summer 2024 will be available on the Pearson website here on Thursday, August 15, at 8am.
