In previous years there's been talk of A-level results coming out before the official time, but is that really the case? The short answer is still no.
UCAS Hub will start updating from around 8am for A-level students tomorrow (August 15). Results are not available here, but you can check out the status of your university application an hour or two before arriving at school or college.

While students would once be forced to wait until they got to their school gates to find out their academic futures, many are now accessing UCAS Track - the online university application service, on their way in to school or college, or even before they leave home.
UCAS Track informs students of universities' decisions at 8am, before many teenagers have arrived at their schools to collect their results envelopes or receive an email from their school, if they have chosen to receive their results this way. Results can be emailed or sent in the post, but some students prefer to receive their results in person so they can get support from teachers and career advisers to discuss their options, especially if their results might affect their plans for September.
Despite the myths in previous years, Track does not update at midnight or at any time the night before A-level results day.
Universities, which find out applicants' A-level results a few days in advance, inform UCAS of their decision prior to the big day, and UCAS does not publish these decisions online until the day itself.
Students can see if their application status has gone from 'Conditional' to 'Unconditional'. But if things haven't gone to plan, they can see if they have been put into clearing.
If you are applying to university via UCAS, you can track your application online.
